On the solemn occasion of the 5th Remembrance Day of Padma Shri Bhavarlal Jain, the visionary founder of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., a historic tribute was created in the form of the world’s largest plastic pipe mosaic portrait.
The colossal mosaic, measuring 150 feet (45.72 meters) in width and 120 feet (36.57 meters) in height, covering an astounding 1,672.25 square meters (18,000 square feet), was installed at Bhaunchi Srushti, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, on 23rd February 2021. This monumental artwork was conceptualized and designed by renowned artist Pradip Vishnu Bhosale and meticulously executed with the help of his dedicated team in 98 continuous hours.
Crafted using various colors and sizes of plastic pipes, the mosaic captures the likeness of Shri Bhavarlal Jain and stands as a powerful symbol of his contribution to sustainable agriculture and rural empowerment. The project was jointly organized by Bhavarlal & Kantabai Jain Foundation and Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., serving as an innovative and eco-conscious homage.
This extraordinary feat has been officially recognized and has set a New World Record for the Largest Plastic Pipe Mosaic Portrait, marking a significant moment in both artistic and commemorative achievements.
