World Record Set with Largest Tulsi Bead Paintings on Datta Jayanti 2021 in Mumbai

In a remarkable tribute to the auspicious occasion of Datta Jayanti the Shree Shitladevi Mandir Trust, Mumbai, organized a record-breaking artistic event under the leadership of renowned artist Omkar Sunil Wagh and a dedicated team of eight artists. The team crafted three magnificent paintings using an astounding 300,000 tulsi beads in 150 distinct shades, showcasing extraordinary creativity and devotion.

The paintings depicted revered spiritual figures: Shreepad Shree Vallabh (measuring 4.6 ft by 4.6 ft, totaling 21.16 sq. ft.), Shree Narsimha Saraswati (4.6 ft by 4.6 ft, totaling 21.16 sq. ft.), and Dattguru Maharaj (6 ft by 4.6 ft, totaling 27.6 sq. ft.). The intricate artwork combined spirituality with fine craftsmanship, creating a visually stunning and deeply meaningful tribute.

This monumental achievement was officially recognized as a new world record on 18th December 2021 at Shree Shitladevi Mandir, Jogeshwari, Mumbai. The event celebrated not only the spiritual significance of Datta Jayanti but also the rich cultural heritage and artistic talents of Maharashtra.
