In a powerful spiritual initiative to invoke blessings for the eradication of the COVID-19 pandemic from the world, GOPIPURA GROUP GRAM PANCHAYAT and the villagers of Gopipura organized a world record event of divine devotion and unity.
Under the leadership of Shri Bharat Bariya and team, more than 5,000 devotees gathered at the foothills of the sacred Pavagadh Mountain to perform the Goddess Mahakali Maha Aarti in unison. The event, held on October 14, 2021, set a New World Record for the largest collective Mahakali Aarti performed from a single location.
The event was supported by village leaders including Shri Ramchandra Ramanlal Baria (Sarpanch), Shri Budhabhai Parsingbhai Rathwa (Deputy Sarpanch), and Smt. Bhagwatiben Ramchandra (Member, Baria Taluka). The spiritual coordination and artistic execution of the event were spearheaded by internationally acclaimed classical dance artists Shri Akshay Patel and Smt. Minakshi Patel.
This historic moment highlighted faith-driven solidarity and cultural pride, as thousands came together to seek divine protection and healing for humanity.
