In an inspiring journey to encourage youth towards spirituality and to promote spiritual tourism, brothers Pandidurai Durairaj and Karthikeyan Durairaj successfully completed a self-driven Spiritual Car Expedition. Starting from their hometown of K. Velangudi on November 7, 2019, at 11:00 AM, the duo embarked on an epic pilgrimage in their Skoda Rapid car.
Over the span of 49 days, they traveled an astounding 20,822 kilometers, visiting and worshiping at 501 temples across 20 Indian states, 3 Union Territories, and 2 countries — India and Nepal. Their journey concluded at K. Velangudi on December 25, 2019, at 8:00 PM, marking the completion of this remarkable feat.
This expedition not only set a new world record but also stands as a testament to their devotion and dedication to spreading spiritual awareness. The brothers hope their journey inspires youngsters to connect with the supreme power and explore the rich spiritual heritage of the region.
