In a remarkable display of devotion and musical harmony, Smt. Pappu Padma Prasanna Kumar daughter of S. Rama Rao from Chhattisgarh, India, set a new record by performing Navagraha Keerthanas along with a Ganapathi Keerthana continuously for 108 minutes. The event featured the collective voices of 108 participants from various age groups, creating a powerful spiritual ambiance.
The performance was held on 14th February 2015 at the Community Bhawan, Co-Operative Bank Colony, Nagole, Hyderabad. The Keerthanas were originally penned by the Late Pappu Someswara Rao, and the event was organized as a heartfelt tribute by the Pappu family.
This extraordinary musical feat not only paid homage to ancient spiritual compositions but also highlighted the unity and dedication of the performers, making it a memorable milestone in devotional music history.
