Samir S. Kakkad, a specially-abled car rider born with 80% disability below the chest, has achieved an extraordinary feat by completing the “World Peace Rally,” a longest road trip drive promoting the message of peace and global unity under the inspiring theme: “This is not a drive, it’s a journey towards independence throughout the world.”
Driving a self-designed, hand-operated car, Samir covered an astounding 14,000 kilometers in 42 days. His journey began on July 1, 2019, from the historic Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, India, and concluded on August 12, 2019, at Ambedkar House, London, United Kingdom.
During the trip, Samir visited 105 cities across 15 countries, spanning 7 time zones, demonstrating incredible endurance, spirit, and commitment to spreading a message of peace. This groundbreaking expedition has been officially recognized as a New World Record.
