In a significant achievement for medical education in India, Porus, a division of Lloyd Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Maharashtra, has set a record for conducting the maximum number of continuous digital medical education (CME) programmes focused on cardio-diabetic medicines.
Between July 7, 2021, and January 31, 2022, Porus successfully organized 125 digital CME sessions, educating and benefiting a total of 2,014 doctors from across the country. The sessions centered around advancing knowledge on cardio-diabetic medicines, particularly Benidin (Benidipine) and Sugaflo (Dapagliflozin), two critical drugs used in managing hypertension and diabetes.
This initiative not only set a national record but also played a pivotal role in updating healthcare professionals on the latest treatments and best practices in cardio-diabetic care, thus contributing to improved patient outcomes.
“At Porus, we are committed to supporting continuous learning among medical professionals. This record is a reflection of our dedication to both education and healthcare excellence,” said a spokesperson from Lloyd Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
The record underscores the growing impact of digital platforms in medical education and highlights Porus’s leadership in the cardio-diabetic therapeutic segment.
