In a spectacular display of aerial technology and celebration, Droneacharya Aerial Innovations Limited, a pioneering drone startup from Maharashtra, India, has set a new record for flying the largest birthday greeting card using a drone.
The remarkable feat took place at the United Sports Badminton Court in Pune on September 16, 2022, where the team lifted an enormous 8×12 feet greeting card to a height of 20 feet using a specially designed hexacopter heavy liftoff drone. The event was organized to celebrate the 72nd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
What made the achievement even more impressive was the skill and precision demonstrated by the pilots, who manually controlled the drone throughout the lift and display. The carefully choreographed drone show highlighted India’s growing expertise in drone technology and innovation.
The record was officially confirmed on December 14, 2022, marking a proud moment for Droneacharya Aerial Innovations and showcasing the potential of drones beyond conventional applications.
