In a landmark sporting event, PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Limited has set the record for organizing the Largest Badminton Championship in India. Held under the flagship of the PNB MetLife Junior Badminton Championship, the tournament brought together 1,500 participants from across the country in an epic celebration of youth sports.
The championship began in Mumbai on August 22, 2022, and culminated in a grand finale at the prestigious Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, on October 12, 2022. Over the course of the event, players competed in an impressive 100 rounds of badminton, showcasing talent, grit, and sportsmanship.
The record-setting championship not only highlighted emerging badminton talent but also reinforced PNB MetLife’s commitment to encouraging grassroots sports development in India.
