In a groundbreaking feat of engineering and infrastructure development, Rachana Infracon, in association with Rachana Construction Co., has successfully constructed the Largest Elevated RCC Solid Slab Rotary Junction in Valsad, Gujarat, setting a new national record.
The record-setting rotary junction stands 1.5 meters in height, elevated at 9.21 meters above the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) track, and spans an impressive total area of 1547.21 square meters. Built with precision and cutting-edge technology, the structure utilized 1974 cubic meters of RCC M45 grade concrete and 721.47 metric tonnes of TMT reinforcement steel bars — showcasing the scale and strength of the engineering marvel.
Over 200 skilled workers contributed to the successful completion of this mega project, working tirelessly to finish it in a record time of 51 days. The project was executed under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Navinbhai I. Patel, representing Rachana Infracon & Rachana Construction Co., and in close coordination with Mr. Sitesh Kumar (PD) of M/s IRCON International Ltd., ensuring top-tier quality, safety, and efficiency throughout.
This infrastructure achievement not only enhances connectivity and traffic flow in the region but also underscores Gujarat’s growing leadership in advanced construction and civil engineering.
The successful completion of this massive rotary junction reflects a remarkable blend of engineering excellence, workforce dedication, and visionary leadership, setting a benchmark for future infrastructure projects in India.
