At 46 years old, Frank Sagona is proving that limits are meant to be broken — one pull-up at a time. The Pueblo native, already a two-time Guinness World Record holder, is now gearing up for his next epic challenge.
Over the past 16 years, Sagona has performed millions of pull-ups, earning him a reputation as perhaps the world’s ultimate pull-up master. Training daily at his home in Pueblo and at a gym in Pueblo West, he’s built a routine that has powered him through record-breaking performances.
Sagona’s current world records are nothing short of jaw-dropping:
1,010 chin-ups in one hour
5,049 pull-ups in eight hours
Now, with his eyes set on shattering yet another world record, Sagona continues to push his physical and mental endurance to new heights.
“Pull-ups are my passion and my therapy,” Sagona shared. “I’m always looking for the next mountain to climb — or in my case, the next bar to conquer.”
His dedication has made him an inspiration in the Pueblo community and among fitness enthusiasts worldwide. As he trains for his next Guinness attempt, supporters eagerly await to see just how far the pull-up king can go.
