Orphanage Girls Set World Record with Classical Dance Performance on Women’s Day

In a heartwarming celebration of empowerment and talent, Shree Kutch Mahila Kalyan Kendra (KMKK), Bhuj, Kutch, Gujarat, organized a World Record event on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021. Under the inspirational mentorship of Smt. Kamlaben Vyash (Chairman), along with Smt. Dipaliben Shukal (President) and Smt. Ilaben Mehta (Administrator), the event aimed to showcase the strength and artistry of orphaned girls.

A total of 16 orphanage girls, supported by 6 staff members, learned and performed an elegant sequence of classical and semi-classical dance for 30 continuous minutes, setting a New World Record. The performance took place at the KMKK Campus, Airport Road, Bhuj, and was choreographed by renowned classical dance expert Ms. Yesha Thakker.

The record was officially adjudicated by Milan Soni and Devyani Soni, Senior Adjudicators from Kutch, Gujarat.

The event stood as a tribute to the spirit of womanhood, resilience, and the power of the performing arts in transforming lives.
