In an extraordinary show of unity, devotion, and spiritual commitment, the Jain community across India came together in a massive prayer initiative for the good health and long life of Vishwa Saint Shri Roopmuniji Maharajsaheb. On this sacred occasion, over 500,000 people observed “Ekashan” (a type of fasting) simultaneously across the nation, creating a new world record for the largest coordinated fasting event.
The initiative was led and inspired by Shri Mukesh B. Ostwal, with organizational support from the Jain Community of Surat, Gujarat. This spiritual movement not only demonstrated the profound collective faith and discipline of the Jain followers but also promoted the power of prayer, peace, and well-being.
The record-setting fast served as a shining example of how a community’s united prayers can transcend boundaries and inspire greater awareness about the benefits of spiritual practices like fasting for both mental peace and physical health.
