Nashik’s Balu Dhondu Kamlabai Mokal Sets New World Record Performing 51 Yogasanas on Motorbike

On the occasion of the 7th International Yoga Day 2021, Mr. Balu Dhondu Kamlabai Mokal, Academic Co-ordinator (Yoga) at Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik, Maharashtra, achieved a remarkable feat by performing 51 different types of yogasanas along with Surya Namaskara — all while balanced on a moving motorbike (two-wheeler).

This extraordinary display of yoga skill and balance was completed in just 30 minutes, setting a new world record on 21st June 2021 at Nashik Road, Nashik, Maharashtra, India.

Mr. Mokal’s accomplishment highlights the growing spirit and innovation within the yoga community, combining traditional yogic postures with an element of daring physical coordination.

The event was celebrated widely, inspiring many to pursue yoga with dedication and creativity.
