In a spectacular celebration of Ganesha Festival 2019, Maharashtra witnessed a grand architectural feat as Mr. Rahul Gajanan Walanj, President of Sahyadri Krida Mandal, Chembur, created the largest temporary pandal featuring a temple replica of Shree Swami Samarth Math, setting a New Record for its scale and devotion.
Erected at Sahyadri Ground, Tilak Nagar, Chembur, the colossal pandal covered a total area of 5,700 sq. ft., with a 3,700 sq. ft. temple structure standing at an impressive 32 feet in height. The temple-themed installation was beautifully designed and meticulously constructed over a span of just two months by Mr. Rahul Shashikant Parab and his dedicated team.
The structure, inspired by deep spiritual reverence and artistic excellence, became the centerpiece of local celebrations, drawing large crowds who came to witness both the grandeur of the design and the devotion behind the initiative.
The record-setting effort not only highlighted cultural pride but also showcased the incredible teamwork and community spirit of Sahyadri Krida Mandal. It stood as a symbol of unity, craftsmanship, and the vibrant spirit of Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav celebrations.
