Massive Self-Defense Workshop Empowers 25,000+ Women in Surat, Sets New World Record

Gujarat witnessed a landmark event dedicated to women’s empowerment and safety. Amandeep Singh Gotra, an International Wushu Champion and Self-Defense Expert, along with his dedicated team, organized a large-scale self-defense training workshop at Gajera Ground. The event was held on the occasion of Hanuman Chalisa Katha, organized by Shree Hanuman Chalisa Yuva Katha Samiti, Surat, and graced by the presence of Hariprakashdasji Swami from Shree Kathabhanjan Hanuman Mandir Sarangpur.

In this powerful 45-minute practice session, over 25,000 girls and women actively participated, learning essential self-defense techniques aimed at boosting confidence and personal safety. This massive turnout and training session set a new world record for the largest self-defense workshop.

The event received strong support from local institutions Yash Kishorbhai Padshala and Shivam Udayveersingh Yadav, reflecting a unified commitment to promoting gender equality and protection.

This unprecedented initiative not only highlights the growing awareness about women’s safety but also serves as an inspiring example of community-driven empowerment in India.
