In a bid to foster a positive educational environment during the challenging times of the pandemic and lockdown, Gujarat University Library successfully organized the longest Virtual Educational Exhibition. Guided by Dr. Yogesh Parekh, University Librarian (i/c), and his dedicated team, the month-long exhibition featured 32 educational presentations spanning various subjects.

The exhibition was officially inaugurated on August 14, 2020, by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Jagdish Bhavsar, and Registrar Dr. P. M. Patel. Hosted on the official website of Gujarat University Library, the exhibition attracted over 30,000 students from across India by September 14, 2020, setting a new world record for virtual educational engagement.

This initiative not only provided a vital learning platform during lockdown but also showcased the university’s commitment to innovative education in unprecedented times.
