Longest Running Gujarati Drama Series: The Legendary Gujjubhai

Siddharth Randeria, the celebrated Gujarati director, actor, writer, and dramatist from Mumbai, Maharashtra, achieved a remarkable milestone with his iconic Gujarati stage drama series “Gujjubhai.” Launched in 2002, the series includes six popular plays:

  • Gujjubhai E Gaam Gajavyu (2003)
  • Lage Raho Gujjubhai (2007)
  • Lo Gujjubhai Ghode Chadya (2010)
  • Gujjubhai ni Golmaal (2012)
  • Gujjubhai Banya Dabangg (2015)

Together, these plays have completed an astounding 3500+ shows across the world, setting a new world record. The record was officially recognized on March 24, 2019, at Thakorbhai Desai Hall, Ellishbridge, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Siddharth Randeria is also the only actor in India to have performed over 12,000 live shows and acted in more than 70 theatre productions throughout his illustrious 45-year career. His enduring contribution to Gujarati theatre continues to inspire artists and audiences alike.
