In a stirring display of devotion, patriotism, and cultural pride, 215 artists from the Taal Rudra Group set a world record by performing non-stop Dhol and Tasha for 12 continuous hours during the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2015 in Nashik-Trimbakeshwar, Maharashtra.
The tribute, dedicated to the memory of Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, began at 9:00 AM and continued until 9:00 PM on September 10, 2015, at Suyojit Viridian Vallies, Gangapur Road, Nashik. The musical marathon filled the atmosphere with spiritual energy and cultural rhythm, reflecting the unity and discipline that Dr. Kalam himself embodied.
The event was conceptualized and led by Taal Rudra Group, with generous support from Suyojit Infrastructure, the Central Hindu Military Education Society, and Sula Vineyards. Thousands gathered to witness the historic performance, making it a landmark moment in the celebration of Indian tradition, collective homage, and musical endurance.
