“Largest Simultaneous Singing of National Anthem to Empower the Girl Child”

In a powerful display of unity and national pride, the PCPNDT Cell of the National Health Mission (NHM), Rajasthan, organized a world record event to mark National Girl Child Day on 24th January 2018. Under the inspiring leadership of Mr. Naveen Jain, IAS, Mission Director, NHM Rajasthan, a staggering 11,72,712 students and citizens from 6,439 institutions including schools and colleges, came together to sing the Indian national anthem, “Jana Gana Mana”, simultaneously at 11:30 AM.

The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of the girl child and gender equality while fostering patriotism and collective consciousness. Participants across the Jaipur district synchronized their voices in a historic and emotional moment, setting a New World Record for the largest number of people singing the national anthem simultaneously at multiple venues.

This initiative served as a significant step in spreading the message of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” and showcasing the power of community in advocating for the rights and recognition of the girl child in India.
