In a spectacular celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, the International Cultural Dance & Music Academy (ICDMA) has etched its name in the record books by organizing the largest simultaneous performance of dance, music, and drawing based on the iconic Mahishasura Mardhini song.
A staggering 9,229 participants — including dancers, musicians, and artists — joined hands both offline and online on 17th December 2022 at Vijayawada, creating a visual and musical symphony that resonated across the globe.
This world record-setting event was brilliantly organized by ER Janardhan and Padmasri A Kanyakumari, with the noble aim of promoting the significance of Indian culture on an international platform. The grand spectacle witnessed participation from enthusiasts spanning various regions, united by their passion for Indian classical and folk traditions.
Speaking on this achievement, the organizers said, “This event was not just about setting a record, but about sending a strong message to the world on the unity and vibrancy of Indian arts. We are proud to have brought together thousands under one cultural umbrella.”
The success of this event marks a proud moment for Indian cultural ambassadors and sets an inspiring example for future generations to embrace and celebrate the nation’s artistic legacy.
