The Maharshi Arvind Psychology Department of Saurashtra University, Rajkot, successfully organized the largest mental health awareness campaign, reaching over 45,000 participants. The campaign, held from December 22, 2022, to March 5, 2023, engaged students from 54 schools across 9 districts.
As part of the initiative, participants took a solemn oath to prioritize and maintain mental well-being, fostering a culture of mental health awareness and support throughout the region.
The campaign was expertly facilitated by Dr. Yogesh Jogsan, Dr. Dhara R. Doshi, and Dr. Hasmukh Chavda, who provided guidance and resources to empower individuals in understanding the importance of mental health.
This unprecedented effort has set a new benchmark for community-driven mental health initiatives in Gujarat, emphasizing the critical need for awareness and proactive mental wellness practices in schools and beyond.
