In a grand initiative supporting Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s flagship campaign “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao & Women Empowerment Mission,” the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha, South Gujarat, organized a remarkable event on July 6, 2017. Under the leadership of Ms. Hemali Boghawala, General Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha Gujarat State, over 1,320 women party members simultaneously applied the iconic Kamal (lotus) logo using mehendi (henna) on the hands of more than 50,000 women across various locations in South Gujarat.

This unprecedented collective effort not only highlighted women’s participation but also successfully set a new world record. The event underscored the powerful message of women empowerment and gender equality, resonating with the vision of the Prime Minister’s campaign aimed at safeguarding and promoting the education and welfare of girls across India.
