Largest Indian Map Created Using Tulsi (Basil) Tree Saplings

In a unique tribute to nature, motherhood, and patriotism, Khushali Meet Thacker, a pregnant woman from Kutch, Gujarat, created an extraordinary world record by designing the Map of India using over 2,500 Tulsi (Holy Basil) saplings on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021.

The live installation, measuring 24.9 feet in height and 22.5 feet in width, symbolized environmental awareness and national pride. Khushali’s initiative was not only a record-setting accomplishment but also a generous act of charity — she donated all the Tulsi saplings to Shree Swaminarayan Smruti Mandir Bhuj, promoting health and greenery.

The event was officially adjudicated by Milan Soni and Devyani Soni, Senior Adjudicators of Kutch District, Gujarat, and was recognized as a New World Record for the Largest Indian Map Created Using Medicinal Saplings by a Pregnant Woman.

Khushali’s effort stands as a powerful symbol of women’s strength, creativity, and commitment to community welfare, even during pregnancy.
