On the auspicious occasion of the 392nd Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (Shivaji Jayanti), social enthusiasts Shri Sharad Dada Sonawane and Shri Darshan Phulpagar organized a spectacular world record event in Junnar, Maharashtra.
The highlight of the celebration was the creation of the largest 3D portrait rangoli of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, measuring an astonishing 230 feet by 120 feet, covering a total area of 27,600 square feet. The rangoli was crafted using 16,000 kilograms of various types of vibrant rangoli colors.
The artistic masterpiece was designed by the talented team of Mahendra Metkari, Bhagyashree Deshpande, and Shekhar Dardare, along with 30 dedicated artists. The creation process spanned over three days at Shankar Rao Butte Patil Ground, Junnar.
This grand tribute not only honored the legendary warrior king but also set a new world record on 20th March 2022, marking a memorable celebration of Shivaji Jayanti in Maharashtra.
