Kashi Samaddar Sets New World Record as Most Travelled Person on Earth

Adventurer and explorer Kashi Samaddar of India, already known as the first person to visit all countries since his journey began on May 27, 2008, in Kosovo and completed on July 9, 2011, in South Sudan, has now achieved a monumental milestone. On June 4, 2022, in the historic city of Biratnagar, Nepal, Kashi set his 11th world record by becoming the “Most Travelled Person of the World.”

Over the course of 25 years and 271 days, starting from his initial touristic journey in Zuwarah, Libya on September 7, 1996, Kashi has explored an astounding 5,529 territories, dependencies, atolls, straits, and locations across the globe. His travels culminated with his latest leg from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, symbolizing his mission of promoting True World Peace through Tourism, reduction of road deaths, and a pollution-free environment.

Throughout this incredible journey, Kashi has traversed:

  • 0.52 million miles on foot,
  • 1.23 million miles self-driven,
  • 16.65 million miles by air.
