Kundan B. Trivedi, popularly known as Pratima T. (born January 13, 1960), a celebrated Gujarati actress and dramatist and founder of the Khelrangara Group, has set a New World Record by becoming the first Gujarati actress to perform Gujarati drama 87 times across foreign countries between 1976 and 2021.
Affectionately known as the “Comedy Queen” and “Lady Amitabh Pratima T.”, she has mesmerized audiences with her versatile acting skills and powerful stage presence for over four decades. Her unique contribution to Gujarati Rangbhoomi has earned her numerous accolades both in India and abroad.
In a historic achievement, she also became the first Indian actress to be honored four times at the House of Commons in the British Parliament, London, in the years 2005, 2014, 2017, and 2018—a testament to her influence and impact on global audiences.
This record-setting accomplishment was officially recognized on November 19, 2021, in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, marking a proud moment for Indian theatre and cultural diplomacy.
