Gujarat University Library took a major step towards ensuring seamless access to digital learning resources during the Covid-19 pandemic by subscribing to the innovative mobile app “MYLOFT (My Library on Fingertips).” This app is designed to provide students and beneficiaries with easy, anytime-anywhere access to the vast collection of e-resources subscribed by the university library.

Under the guidance of Dr. Yogesh Parekh, University Librarian (i/c), the initiative saw an overwhelming response, with a record-breaking 16,227 students and beneficiaries registering on the app in a single day—April 4, 2020. This milestone sets a new benchmark for digital resource engagement in academic institutions, reflecting the university’s commitment to uninterrupted education during challenging times.
