In an extraordinary musical homage to the legendary Bollywood singer Kishore Kumar on his 32nd Death Anniversary, Jitendra Bhuruk — popularly known as the “Voice of Kishore Kumar” — created a new milestone with his unique tribute concert titled “Geet Gata Hoon Main”.
Held on 13th October 2019, the event spanned five different auditoriums across Pune, where Jitendra Bhuruk, accompanied by 10 fellow singers and a 40-member orchestra, performed a total of 135 iconic Kishore Kumar songs — all in a single day.
This musical marathon was not only a tribute but also a mission of compassion, as the entire income generated from the event was donated to various social organizations across Maharashtra.
The initiative showcased the enduring love for Kishore Kumar’s timeless melodies while also setting a New World Record for the most live performances of Kishore Kumar songs at multiple venues in one day. This historic feat stands as a symbol of devotion, talent, and social responsibility.
