G.K. Gurukul’s ‘Anubhuti 2022’ – A Cultural Milestone with a World Record Drama on Dashavatar

In an extraordinary celebration of Indian art, culture, and mythology, G.K. Gurukul, Pune, organized its annual concert “Anubhuti 2022” titled “Tatvamasi – The Essence is You”, a mesmerizing multilingual spiritual drama based on the 10 Avatars of Lord Vishnu (Dashavatar). The grand performance, held on 22nd December 2022 at the G.K. Gurukul Campus, Pimple Saudagar, captivated audiences with its scale and soul.

Under the visionary leadership of Shri Vinod Chandwani (Chairman), Ms. Jyoti Jeswani (Director), and Mrs. Mayuri Mehta (Principal), the production saw the enthusiastic participation of over 1300 students performing simultaneously through dance, drama, vocals, and music.

The 150-minute two-part concert, scripted in seven Indian languages by Mr. Dheeraj Raghunandan, was directed by the Theatrica Team and supported by the dedicated staff of G.K. Gurukul. The event not only left a profound cultural impact but also set a New World Record for the largest multilingual student drama based on Indian mythology.

This initiative stands as a remarkable contribution to cultural education and the nurturing of young minds with the values of India’s rich heritage.
