In a momentous literary achievement, author Nageswar Sonkesri of Indore has been honoured by the World Book of Records (WBR), London (UK) for his groundbreaking work “Adhbhut Shrimad Bhagwat – Maut Se Moksh ki Katha”, which has been officially recognized under the record title “First ever mythological book simplified in Hindi phrases.”
The 500-page book stands out for its innovative approach, simplifying the profound spiritual and philosophical essence of the Shrimad Bhagwat into easy-to-understand Hindi phrases. This makes the epic more accessible to the common reader while preserving its mythological richness and spiritual depth. Sonkesri’s work offers a unique interpretation unlike any existing version of the sacred text.
The record certificate was presented in an esteemed ceremony attended by prominent dignitaries, including Param Pujya Jagat Guru Shankaracharya, Shri Divyananda Tirth Jee (Bhanpura Pith), Raghunandan Sharma (Former MP), Vishvas Sarang (Minister, Government of MP), Usha Thakur (MLA Indore), and other senior political and administrative figures. Also gracing the occasion was Santosh Shukla, President of World Book of Records, London.
Nageswar Sonkesri expressed gratitude for the honour and shared that his mission was to bring ancient wisdom closer to modern readers. “This book is not just a translation but a simplified spiritual journey designed to guide people from death to liberation,” he stated.
