“Fingerprint for Democracy: Unique Voter Awareness Tribute on Kamalnath’s Birthday”

In a creative and impactful initiative to promote voting awareness, Rakesh Partey President of Theme Education & Social Welfare Society, organized a mass campaign where 318 citizens from Pandurna and surrounding areas participated in a one-of-a-kind tribute to Member of Parliament Kamalnath.

To mark Kamalnath’s birthday, participants wrote birthday wishes using their election inked finger impressions — a symbolic call urging all adults to exercise their voting rights. The messages were composed on a 309.86-feet-long banner, created by joining hundreds of A4-sized sheets, forming a powerful visual message of democratic responsibility.

The campaign received enthusiastic support from several local organizations, including B.C.C., Mahila B.C.C., B. Sevadal, Y.C., and N.S.U.I. Pandurna. Key contributors included Ashok Manapure, Jayant Ghode, Shashi Kant Jadhav, Mukesh Vishwakarma, and Ugta Bharat Newspaper.

This unique voter awareness initiative highlighted the role of youth and civil society in strengthening democracy and was a heartfelt homage aligning personal celebration with public consciousness.
