Shashikunj Academy, Ahmedabad, organized an inspiring dance workshop titled “Dance Mania” for differently able and underprivileged children. The event took place at the Sabarmati Riverfront Event Centre, Paldi, Ahmedabad, and saw a massive participation of 4000 children who learned dance and performed live on the popular song “Chal Beta Selfie Le Le Re.”
Conceptualized by Mrs. Bhairavi Yogesh Lakhani, Director of Shashikunj Academy, the workshop aimed to provide an inclusive platform for children from diverse backgrounds to express themselves creatively through dance. The event received strong support from organizations such as Special Olympics-Gujarat, Wagh Bakri Tea Group, CIMS Hospital, Cosmos Water Solutions Pvt Ltd, and Gujarat Garment Manufacturers’ Association.
This large-scale event not only showcased the talents of these children but also emphasized the importance of inclusion, confidence-building, and community support for differently able and underprivileged youth.
