In a groundbreaking initiative blending education and rehabilitation, Annamalai University, Chennai, in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, Mount Abu, organized a special convocation ceremony at Ahmedabad Central Jail. Under the leadership of Shri P.C. Thakur, ADGP (Jail), 80 inmates were honored with degree and diploma certificates in value education and spirituality on 3rd December 2011.
This unprecedented event marked a significant milestone in prisoner reformation efforts, aiming to empower inmates through knowledge and spiritual growth. The ceremony set a new record at the Ahmedabad Central Jail, Sabarmati, Gujarat, highlighting the importance of education even behind bars.
