Celebrating the rich heritage and traditional spirit of Bali Yatra, ITC Sunfeast Marie Light organized a spectacular world record event at the iconic Bali Yatra Festival held on the banks of the Mahanadi River. Over an 8-day period, 25,000 Boitas (traditional miniature boats) were crafted and floated simultaneously by the enthusiastic community, showcasing Odisha’s cultural legacy and maritime history.
This grand feat was officially recognized and registered as a new world record by World Records India on 4th December 2023, marking a proud moment for the people of Cuttack and the entire state of Odisha. The event not only revived the ancient Bali Yatra spirit but also brought the community together in a vibrant celebration of tradition and unity.
