277 Orphan Children Dress as Pandit Nehru to Set New Record on Children’s Day 2019 in Kolhapur

To commemorate Children’s Day and honor the birth anniversary of Shri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the G.S. Dhorajkar Foundation from Ahmednagar organized a remarkable event at Bhuikot Forts, Kolhapur. Under the leadership of Akanksha Dhorajkar and Aadarsh Dhorajkar, 277 orphan children and students of Sai English Medium School participated in a unique walk dressed as Pandit Nehru, paying heartfelt homage to the nation’s first Prime Minister.

This inspiring tribute set a new world record, showcasing the spirit of unity, respect, and celebration of Nehruji’s legacy among young children. The event received valuable support from Arvind Pargaonkar, Sitaram Dhorajkar, and Amol Bagul.
