Shaik Sadhiq, an MTech student at Vignan University, has earned a place in the India Book of Records 2023 for his outstanding social and service-oriented contributions. His achievement was highlighted on Thursday by Vignan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. Nagabhushan, who praised Sadhiq’s dedication to community welfare.
Working under the banner of the Young Generation Welfare Society alongside fellow students, Sadhiq has spearheaded over 800 initiatives benefiting more than 35,000 people in the Guntur and Tenali regions. These efforts include providing essential facilities to underprivileged communities, making a tangible difference in countless lives.
Chairman of Vignan Institutions, Lavu Rathaiah, commended Sadhiq for embodying the university’s ethos of holistic development and societal responsibility. “Our students are encouraged to go beyond academics and contribute meaningfully to society. Sadhiq’s achievement is an inspiration for all,” he said.
Vignan Institutions have a track record of nurturing record-breaking talent. In the past, students from Vignan Vidyalayam in Visakhapatnam set Guinness and Limca Book records for a 36-hour non-stop marathon group event. Sadhiq’s recognition adds another proud chapter to the institution’s legacy of excellence.
Representatives from the India Book of Records presented the certificate to Sadhiq, acknowledging his exceptional impact through sustained, community-focused action.
