Mountaineer Rohtash Khileri of Malapur in Hisar district has been named in the India Book of Records. Rohtash has received the certificate through post. On March 21, 2021, Rohtash stayed for 24 hours on Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of the African continent, and waved the tricolor, which is 5895 meters high. On this basis, Khileri’s name has been recorded in the India Book of Records.
Rohtash said that the registration for this was done on 29th April, but the certificate was received through post this month. It is noteworthy that Rohtash has conquered many peaks so far. Rohtash said that now his dream is to hoist the tricolor by staying on the peak of Mount Everest for 24 hours in the year 2023. For this, he will now start training. Rohtash’s father Subhash Chandra is a farmer while his mother Bansi Devi is a housewife. Rohtash said that to maintain fitness, he continued his practice at home as well.
