The Baptist Youth Fellowship, Northern Tangkhul Naga Baptist Association, has set the record for the longest human chain reciting Bible verses under the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records. The record was set at the 3rd Triennial Gathering at Peh village in Ukhrul, Manipur. The participants recited Bible verse John 3:16 in English and the Tangkhul Naga language under the guidance of Dr. Sirangam Shimrang to convey the message of love and salvation to the entire world.
The Bible verse John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The 3rd Triennial gathering was hosted by the Baptist Youth Society of Peh Dharsin Baptist Church.
On December 12, 2024, the Baptist Youth Fellowship of the Northern Tangkhul Naga Baptist Association set a remarkable record by forming the longest human chain to recite a Bible verse in both English and the Tangkhul Naga language.This event took place during the 3rd Triennial Gathering at Peh village in Ukhrul District, Manipur.
