“Bran Castle Sets World Record as the World’s First Dracula Theme Park!”

Bran Castle, located in Transylvania, Romania, is often referred to as “Dracula’s Castle” due to its association with Bram Stoker’s fictional vampire. In October 2024, it was recognized by the World Record Academy as the world’s first Dracula-themed park.

Despite its reputation, there is no historical evidence that Stoker knew about Bran Castle or that Vlad the Impaler, the real-life inspiration for Dracula, had significant ties to it. However, the castle’s dramatic architecture and location have made it a focal point for Dracula tourism. Today, Bran Castle operates as a museum, showcasing art and furniture collected by Queen Marie, and offers various Dracula-themed events and tours. It is one of Romania’s most visited sites, attracting over a million tourists annually.

The castle’s allure continues to captivate visitors, blending history with legend and providing an immersive experience into the world of Dracula.
