SANY Group, a global leader in construction and heavy machinery, has officially claimed a Guinness World Record™ for “The Highest Water Jet from a Fire Truck (Prototype).”
The groundbreaking achievement was secured by SANY’s Aerial Water Jet Fire Truck JP100, which launched a water jet to an extraordinary height of 159.66 meters during a live demonstration on October 16 at the 21st China International Fire Protection Equipment Technology Conference & Exposition.
This new record marks a significant leap in high-rise firefighting technology, offering a powerful new tool to combat blazes in the world’s ever-growing number of super high-rise buildings.
The SANY JP100 is engineered as a dedicated solution for urban fire challenges. Its key features showcase a combination of unmatched power, height, and mobility:
- World’s First: It is the world’s first 5-axle aerial water jet fire truck equipped with a massive 100-meter boom.
- Unparalleled Reach: The innovative boom system combines six telescopic and three folding sections to achieve its operational height and offer maximum flexibility around obstacles.
- Extreme Power: A high- and low-pressure multi-stage centrifugal pump delivers a massive flow rate of 50 L/s, creating a powerful jet that can cover a range exceeding 70 meters with an operational radius of more than 100 meters.
- Agility and Efficiency: Despite its immense capability, the JP100 is designed for urban environments. It is 10 tons lighter than comparable models and features a 5-axle chassis with a compact 23.7-meter turning diameter for improved maneuverability.
- Enhanced Safety: An integrated remote-control system allows a single operator to manage all firefighting actions from a safe distance, significantly boosting on-site response speed and safety.
SANY Group stated that the record-breaking achievement underscores its commitment to developing advanced emergency response technologies and setting new global standards in fire safety equipment.
