Physically Challenged Duo Sets New Record in National Gumball India 2021 Car Rally

To celebrate the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and promote the powerful message of “One Nation One People,” along with national integration and road safety awareness, Motorsports Incarnation Sports organized the National Gumball India 2021 — a thrilling car rally and competition.

Among the inspiring participants were Digvijay Singh, son of Jitendra Kumar Verma, an 82% physically challenged driver with both legs impaired from Haridwar, Uttarakhand, and Prashant Gaurkar, son of Babulal Gaurkar, who is without both legs, from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Together, they drove a Toyota Fortuner 4×4 Manual Gearbox car, completing an incredible nonstop journey of 4,140 kilometers in just 76 hours.

Their challenging journey began at 6:41 am on December 24, 2021, from Koteshwar, Gujarat, and concluded at 10:42 am on December 28, 2021, at Kaho, Arunachal Pradesh, setting a new record for endurance and determination.

The event was proudly sponsored and supported by Shri Subhash Verma, former President of District Panchayat Haridwar, and Badrivas Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Roorkee, Uttarakhand, showcasing an extraordinary example of courage and unity in the face of adversity.
