Jump Rope World Record Holder David Fisher Inspires Kilgore Kids with High-Energy Show

The Texan Theater in Kilgore was buzzing with energy on Wednesday as David Fisher, a professional jump rope performer and holder of three world records, brought his electrifying act to a crowd of enthusiastic children and families.

Known nationally as The Rope Warrior, Fisher has made over 100 television appearances and even performed for Presidents Clinton and Bush. His Kilgore show combined athleticism, entertainment, and education, turning the spotlight on fitness and fun.

“I did a showcase for libraries in the Dallas area, and Kilgore librarians were there,” said Fisher. “They saw my show and booked me to come out here today. So happy to be here.”

The performance featured a variety of jaw-dropping stunts, including traveling jumps, double Dutch routines, and partner jumping. But for Fisher, the highlight was the interaction with the audience. “The best part of the show is getting volunteers involved,” he said. “I get to make heroes out of the volunteers from the audience.”

Fisher’s visit not only entertained but also promoted an active lifestyle and the importance of confidence-building through movement. The event, organized in partnership with local libraries, left a lasting impact on young viewers who witnessed firsthand the power of practice, passion, and positivity — one jump at a time.
