In a remarkable effort to promote unity and sportsmanship across communities, Saiyed Ibrahim Mehmud Miya, a dedicated Muslim sports enthusiast from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, established the Ahad Sports Club in November 2019. The club was founded with the vision to bring together sportspersons from all castes and communities across the state of Gujarat, encouraging participation in various sports activities regardless of background.
On 12th November 2019, at Juhapura Area, Sarkhej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the club officially launched its activities, setting a new record by becoming one of the first sports clubs in the region to openly invite and unite athletes from diverse communities under one banner. Saiyed Ibrahim’s initiative has been widely appreciated for fostering inclusivity, sportsmanship, and social harmony through the power of sports.
The Ahad Sports Club aims to provide a platform where talent from all walks of life can thrive, promoting healthy competition and mutual respect, thereby strengthening the spirit of community cohesion throughout Gujarat.
