In a remarkable effort to raise awareness about environmental conservation, Aashik Ahmed and Siva Ravichandiran, two passionate bikers from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, have set a new world record with their long-distance bike ride promoting the message “Save Nature and Plant Trees.”

Covering an astounding 9,700 kilometers in just 15 days, the duo embarked on their journey from Chennai on April 21, 2024, traversing 28 states across India. Along the way, they planted over 500 trees using seed balls, spreading the vital message of tree conservation and environmental protection.

Their journey concluded on May 5, 2024, in Himachal Pradesh, where their feat was officially recognized and confirmed as a new world record by World Records India.

“This ride was our tribute to Mother Nature and a call to action for everyone to join hands in saving our environment,” said Aashik Ahmed. “Planting trees is a simple yet powerful way to combat climate change and preserve the planet for future generations.”

Aashik and Siva’s incredible journey not only highlights their love for biking but also underlines the urgent need to protect our environment through collective responsibility and action.
