In a remarkable effort to promote the cause of heritage and environmental conservation, two dedicated bikers, Mr. Madhu Sudan Mishra and Mr. Pratapeswar Satapathy of Mission Odisha, successfully completed a challenging bike expedition across India.
Starting their journey on November 18, 2016, at 8:45 AM from Puri, Odisha, the duo traveled a staggering distance of 7,020 kilometers over 19 days. Their expedition concluded on December 6, 2016, at 9:30 PM, marking the end of an inspiring adventure.
During their ride, they visited and covered a total of 113 heritage sites across the country, raising awareness about the urgent need to protect India’s rich cultural legacy and fragile environment. Their journey not only highlighted the importance of preserving these sites but also emphasized environmental conservation as a vital mission.
The expedition received widespread appreciation for its noble purpose and the perseverance shown by the riders in traversing such a vast and diverse terrain.
