Akshay Singh’s Inspirational Ride: 1,500 km Cycling Marathon with a Prosthetic Limb Sets New Record

Akshay Singh an above-knee amputee Para-Athlete from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has set a new record by completing a 1,500 km cycling marathon from Kanpur to Mumbai in just 5 days. Riding his Fuzi 7 Gear Road bicycle while wearing his prosthetic limb, he began his journey at 10:00 am on January 27, 2020, from Ramadevi Choraha, Kanpur, and triumphantly reached the Gateway of India, Mumbai, at 5:00 pm on January 31, 2020.

This extraordinary feat was accomplished with the mission of inspiring differently-abled individuals to actively participate in Indian Para Sports.
