“Padma Bhushan for Dr. Tejas Patel: A Global Leader in Cardiovascular Innovation”

New Delhi, Renowned interventional cardiologist Dr. Tejas Madhusudan Patel has been conferred the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award, for his exceptional contributions to the field of Medicine, with a focus on cardiovascular health and robotic intervention. Hailing from Gujarat, Dr. Patel is globally recognised for transforming heart care in India.

Dr. Patel is best known as a pioneer of robotic-assisted coronary interventions, making India one of the first countries to adopt and lead in this advanced medical technology.
