Pandit Prasad Joshi Adopts Elephant to Support Animal Conservation in Pune

Pandit Prasad Joshi, from a middle-class family in Pune, has taken a commendable step towards animal welfare by adopting an elephant from the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park & Wildlife Research Centre, Katraj, Pune.

During the period from May 6, 2013, to June 5, 2013, Mr. Joshi generously donated over INR 45,000 to support the care and maintenance of the elephant. His adoption reflects his deep commitment to the mission of saving animals and raising awareness among citizens about the importance of wildlife conservation.

Currently, Pandit Prasad Joshi continues to actively promote animal adoption and conservation efforts, encouraging others to join the movement to protect and preserve wildlife in Maharashtra and beyond.
