In a remarkable initiative to promote world peace and fight the global Covid-19 pandemic, Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University, Bhuj, Gujarat, organized a grand world record event titled ‘Vishva Shanti Yajna’.

The event witnessed participation from over 13,000 people across Kutch district, all practicing social distancing norms. The Yajna took place from 10 am to 11 am and aimed at invoking peace and well-being for mankind during these challenging times.

The program was led by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jayrajsinh Jadeja, Dean of Arts Faculty Dr. Kashmira Mehta, and Dr. Dhruv Purabiya. The event was officially adjudicated by Mr. Milan Soni and Devyani Soni, renowned adjudicators from Kutch district, Gujarat.

This mass participation event set a new world record, demonstrating unity, hope, and collective strength in the fight against the pandemic.
